I was joking.

Could you pm me a price for the mirror and the trunk vac actuator? Do you have the inner trim piece that goes with the mirror?
BTW, still enjoying the sheepskins. And from what I see on this thread, you are offering us very good pricing. Other's should take note......

300TD Rear door trim

I would really like to have the trim piece for the rear hatch interior opener handle if you have one available. Maroon would be my first choice, but any color will cover the hole. Thanks - Jacob

Hi Jacob, I will see if I have a spare one, if it find it, it will most definitely be black.

Thank you. Black would look just fine. I have crunched the thing again after the photo and it's now in pieces.

Would those 5-speeds you mentioned bolt up to a 617?

Hi Jimmy I will email you. I don't have that inner trim piece that covers the inside. I probably didn't grab it because it was either broken, cracked or so corroded it would be more pleasant to look at the door frame!

I am trying to be competitive since I need to clean this place up, cover my costs, but even then I do owe the forum a lot of gratitude!

Sorry if I was misleading, that post was a joke, it was a list of "holy grail" items to amplify the effect of how much of a mess my place is.

Yup, that's what I hear. I put a 4-speed in my '83 TD - straight bolt on from a 240D donor car. I would love to have a little bit of overdrive though.

Get yourself a differential from an '85 and it will do the trick! the 2.82 ratio is lower rpm and you won't notice it reducing acceleration unless of course you are carrying an 1100 LB load like I did in my 300TD once (actually twice!) as in a pallet load of ceramic floor tile.
