I have a W123 speedo that pegs at 85mph. I'm not sure though if it is correct one for your 240D, but it will definitely fit. I believe it's from an '83 300D.

^Its from a a 1977-82, a 83 doesn't have the silver center. You wouldn't happen to have a tach to match the above speedo, would you?

I would search the German & Australian ebay sites for a 6-cylinder tach if you don't have any luck here. (I have seen a few Aussy 280Es for sale w/tachs).

I think I have searched under every stone looking for a W123 gasser tach and found nothing.
