I am searching far and wide for a clean, no-rust, mid-80's 280GE or 300GD. I have found a few, but most have fairly shady origins. I'm looking for one that has been well maintained (preferrably a 5-door). If anyone knows, please e-mail me.

I saw 4 G-Wagens in the september Hemmings Motor News. Two were around $15000 and one had real low milage. Just bought my 90 300GE from Europa. These are great people! I positivley love my G . I tried it out in the mountains of Colorado and I love it even more. Definately seek out a 5sp, otherwise they are unbearably slow.

I finally bought a G-wagen! 1980 280GE LWB, 47,000 original miles, A/C, dual sunroofs (glass and safari), alloys, CD, etc. Although it sounds old, it is immaculate. What a beast of a truck! This one has the dual rear doors, rather than a single (rare on a LWB). I'm very excited. If you know of any good parts dealers (other than Europa), please let me know.
