...cool...$200 for a set of retrofitted mirror caps...that really makes me think about the money I asked for the 2000+ W210 side mirrors I shipped over till now...

Those inserts look great.. it fit perfectly.. and I can't wait to
get them painted.. waiting for the spray paint to arrive.
I still have to wire them up somehow. Got to go thru the firewall
to get to the blinker.. and still looking for a access hole....

I don't think it looks too aftermarket.. Once I finish the wiring and painted I will post some pictures. Hopefully I will get more of this inserts soon.

I had the choice of going for either one. But after examining the pros and cons, I think the w210 mirrors are the better buy. For $100 more you get a "real" mirror, not to mention the w210 mirrors have a special feature in the corner (which give you access to the "blind spot") Plus you can always sell your used w202 mirrors for at least $100-$200 and get some money back!!
Just my opinion!

The thing that I called cool was the price...200USD for 2 aftermarket mirrorcovers where I ask 325/350USD for a set of 2 complete W210 blinking side mirrors incl. aspheric glasses (blind spot feature), shipping and possible auto dimming driver side lens...I had 20 W210 mirror sets (most of those sets were new from the production line...never been on a car)...

200USD for two covers is way too expensive...that was the only cool thing here...
