WTB: Shifter Tube for 1983 240D

I am need of a shifter tube for the shifter of my 1983 240D manual. Part number is 123 260 18 82. New is too expensive....hoping to find a cheap used one.

What is a "shifter tube"? Never heard of that term.

Actually, it is shiftING tube...my mistake. As far as I can tell from the EPC, it is the L-shaped piece into which the shifter goes to transmit the movement horizontally. But I'm sure there's a better way to describe it.

Do you mean shifter rods? (see the picture)if thats what you are looking for I got some from a 240D
