w124 Injection Pumps and 722.317 Auto Trans - all rebuildable cores - Cheap !

After pulling old parts off Klaus, Spouse and Seabiscut I am starting to trip over them. Sooooo - rather than become a hoarder - I'm looking to sell these items as rebuildable cores. I live in Fredericksburg, VA (about 45 minutes south of Washington, DC). Hopefully I price them right;

First off - a 722.317 Automatic trans - pulled from Seabiscut (my 87 300D) - it is bad - needs a rebuild. Price - $75 - you're gonna have to come to my home to pick this one up - too much trouble to pack and ship it. Most shops will charge you more than twice what I'm asking for a core charge if you buy a rebuilt tranny from them. Here's a way to save a little cash.

Next - a pair of Om603 injection pumps. The first one is from Klaus (my 1987 300TD) - it was run for a few years on WVO by the previous owner. I pulled it about 6 weeks ago and replaced it with a brand new unit. The return line check valve had failed, so the engine would not run. ID tag number is easy to read in the photos - appears to be the original pump. I've cleaned it up a lot in a parts washer, but there is still a lot of dried gook on it. This one has the ALDA, but is missing the VTV. Price - $75 + shipping (figure at least $25 to ship it, these weigh about 20 or so pounds). My zip is 22405.

Next is the IP removed from Spouse (my wife's 87 300TD) - I really don't know a lot about this IP other than the car ran really rough - the PO had replaced the O-rings and found one of the springs was wrong - put it all back together. I pulled this one and replaced it with another newly rebuilt spare that I had. Also cleaned this one up in a parts washer. No ALDA on this one, but it does have the VTV. Also includes the hoses see in the photo. This one looks like it was a factory replacement from Bosch - Price is also $75 + shipping.

Non of these items come with any warranty - sold as is for core value or for rebuilding.

Thanks !

Hi Giles. I only have two pumps, they are $75 each plus shipping. I'll put together a suitable box for them and get a shipping quote for ya. Do you want it fast or cheap?

Thanks,

Jeromie

Please check your inbox - the pumps are all packaged together (pumps are individually boxed, then those two boxes are inside on larger box with plenty of packing peanuts for good protection).

Thanks,

Jeromie

WOW! Someone is getting a smoking deal here. Aside the free core aspect, if one were going to attack the rebuild themselves, what are the odds EVERYTHING internal is not serviceable?

Same for what I paid on a .321 core a year ago (virtually identical trans.) Spoiler Alert: It only needed a gasket/seal kit installed and BAMP!!! Cruiiiisen, on a Sunday afternoon...

Thank you man! I know myself too well, I was thinking about rebuilding this myself, but I really don't know if I'll ever get to it. We shall see. If I can't sell it, it may just find a space under my work bench till I can get to it ;-)

Hey there, I'm leaving for two weeks of Army fun starting on Wednesday. If you wanna come down tomorrow or wait till I get back on the 28th, that's cool. You can pickup that 300TD trailer hitch that I keep stubbing my toe on too ;-)
