Any Garrett T25 rebuild kit should get you there. A nice DIY guide can be found here:

Great link,but I heard that these were SLIGHTLY different and the usual T25 kit won't have the right seals or something.. Kent got into it in one of his videos..

The turbo is a Garrett TB2550, p/n 465587-0002, and uses rebuild kit 709143-0001. Or at least that's what the references claim.

Decent diagram if anyone is going to attempt a rebuild

Cheap ebay T25 cartridge. Any reason this couldn't work in a 300D 2.5 compressor and exhaust housing?

The exhaust housing might bolt on, but that would depend on what trim turbine wheel is included with that cartridge. If the turbine is a larger trim than what your exhaust housing was cut for, there may be interference.

The compressor housing will not fit. The auction indicates this may be a GT3076 compressor wheel, and its substantially larger than what will fit in your compressor housing.

The cartridge appears suitable for a GT28 rebuild. If you found a GT30 compressor housing, and had your exhaust housing cut to match the turbine wheel, you could run it. You'd need more fuel to make any extra power from the capability of the larger compressor, and I'd imagine your stock exhaust housing (low A/R) would choke flow. A lot of effort and minimal gains for what would be, at best, a mismatched turbo in the end.

Bumping this back up, need a 300D 2.5 or a 190D 2.5 turbocharger. Looking for one in good shape without shaft play. I already have one that needs rebuilt.
