Some lady ran a stop sign to - day and hit my brother's '87 300SDL hard enough to spin it (!) , it's B.E.R. now .

So, we're now looking for one with a bad engine, cracked head, bad tranny, whatever...

We're in So. Cal. , West Los Angeles area but will travel for the right car & price .

A friend of mine is selling.
Original AMG wheels 17" with new tires. Euro lights.
Solid engine but rear main leaks. Tranny shifts smooth.
New all metal Nissens radiator.
Has AC-aux fan issue, the fan works with 12V but doesn't click on so it cuts out the AC.
It may need vacuum pods too.
Interior is nice, rear seat bench is reclining but one motor seems jammed.

It's green with palomino. The clear is peeling in a few spots. I'm not sure but the windshield may be cracked.

He wants $2500. Dallas, Texas.

I'd buy it from him and slowly restore to be my daily but my w124 gives me enough surprises. I love the SDL and color combo but got stuck with the wrong chassis.
