82 300Dt, SW Ohio, parting out

Hey all,
my 82 300d lost its oil one too many times (broken oil cooler lines) and wiped some main bearings. I pulled the lower oil pan and could see the babbit (sp?) sitting in there. crankshaft seizes when run, motor could be salvaged (new bearings ???), but the body is in such lousy condition that its not worth it to me the time/money required to save the thing.
Apartment/roomate/finance conditions prohibit swapping motors.
The body isnt in that great a shape (more below)so basically I'm offering parts off the car for 2 weeks (untill I get rid of it). Champaigne metallic paint and tan (palomino?) -tex interior. I think this is pretty much the typical issues for this type of car.

things that didnt work/arent salveageable
-sunroof (all there, motor went clunk clunk)
-windshields
-pass rear window reg.
-driver's seat- torn all up
-body- was a SC car, but too much time in Ohio and Michigan (PO). body rust starting in the corners, newly repainted hood and Rfront fender though
-power antenna, PO threw the MB one out...
-rear bumper replaced w/ a trailer hitch (!!!)

Things I'm not sure about, but good for parts/rebuild
-ACC worked oncee, prolly a bad sensor somewhere...fan did spin but I never got to look at it
-transmichigan, I never felt it go from 2nd to first when starting from a stop, but it also had some wires disconnnected from it
-A/C compressor- was unwired and AC system depressurized when I bought the thing.
-cruise control everything, never got to try it out, but its all there.
-accel linkages- which spagetti chef designed that =)
-the head and valvetrain **look** okay...
-starter worked fine, but you'd have to make it worth my while to get in there and pull it off =)

Things that did work, are salvageale
-turbocharger (little brother/ricer wants me to keep it =)
-I fixed the inst cluster, shows 150k miles. tach ok and instruments ok, clock ok
-alternator, ps pump
-radiator, oil cooler
-IP - car ran w/ a little smoke, and started w/ half throttle easily (but, valves were way out of adjust at the time...
-nice tan "300D" carpets =)
-first aid kit, factory MB...
-the other 3 windows and switches
-rear bumper repalced w/ a class I trailer ball- rectangle beam welded to factory bumper mounts, wanna tow a trailer ?

I also have (parts I had bought)
-windshield seal (from rusty, 2 weeks ago)
-2 gallons MB coolant

Thats most of it, I can get a digicam if someone wants pics. I'd rather this thing die saving another MB than just have it shamefully towed to a yard (which is gonna happen anyway)

that being said, do not be afraid to lowball me on offers (but if I gotta pull the dash apart, it better be worth my while =) , any money I can make is good here (little bro still wants the turbo though, and father has a diesel Jetta that might like injectors- haven checked p/n's yet... I dont want to pay any shipping, and I'll gladly deliver parts/meet you if you are within 100 or so miles of Cincinnati Ohio. Please email me at
email me s6gro at yahoo.com
with questions/issues.
Hopefully when finances are better (and I learn to look at what I'm buying better...), I'll get back into an MB diesel- I dig 'em.

-John

Is this car gone yet? I'm interested in some parts if you still have it.
