Please advise....
Myu trusted tire guy put me in new Conti CH-95s last month for my 88 420 SEL. One matter of concern: while the tire size is correct (205/65/15 H-rated), the tire displays what I believe might be too low of a load rating for this car: 92H. Shouldn't it be at least 94H for this model? And if this is too low a rating, what would the symptoms be? Finally, could he have put me in the same tire with a higher load rating (so I can go back and put the onus on him to change them)? Thanks again. |

the load rating for a 92H tire is 1400# per tire. The factory installed 94 tire has a capacity of 1477# per tire. The difference of 308# should not cause any problems. Maybe excessive wear in the worst case scenario
