Tire Jack busted
When changing a flat with my 420, the tire jack busted while I was turning the handle with the tire just leaving the ground. The jack almost went through the passenger door. Luckily, no damage or injuries. Had to walk down the road and ask someone to borrow a floor jack.
Was considering buying a new MB jack or getting different type. This MB jack was kind of scary. Have a feeling it is going to slip and tear the door up? Do you recommend a new MB jack or another type? |

I have never used my MB jack but in my truck I carry a $20 bottle jack. It works better than the Ford original. I dont know how it would fit the MB lifting pegs. At home I use A 2 ton scissor jack, real nice but to heavy to carry around. You might look around a salvage yard for a jack from an older model, they seem to be heftier.
