Michelin Pilot sport A/S

Is the Sport A/S worth the price?

In my opinion most definately Yes, for someone else maybe not.

When I had them on my E320 in the wet or dry you could drive with the utmost confidence that the tire will hold.

Tire noise is not a problem, Snow OK but if you live in a true snow belt buy snow tires.

I live in Cin, not enough to justify anymore than A/S's

I have a set 235-45-17 that are already mounted on 17x8 BBS RC with less than 1000 Miles usage with locks, ready to roll.

Mike

Mike, I have been running Pilot Sport A/S for the last year and a half. 225/40/18. I still have approx. 65% life left in them. I have put about 18,000 miles on them already. Best tire I have ever owned. 400 Tread Rating!

I'd agree with that statement, At the moment I have a set of the original Pilot Sports on the Boxster, the A/S seem to hold a little better in the rain. Haven't hammered either in the dry. it still is in the break in stage. (1700 miles).

I just installed a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires with 245/40ZR18 fronts and 275/35ZR18 rears on AMG 18x8 and 18x9 Aero II Monoblocks on my 560SEC.

So far, excellent! Quiet, great in the rain, and well....seem to be holding up fine. Granted, I only have 4000 miles on them. Time will tell...

Got mine from Tire Rack last year. Have them on my Acura. Best all season tires I ever had Had them on this past winter when we had some kind of a winter!!! Traction was great in snow. I am mostly amazed with the very low wear. Had them for 12K miles and there is very little wear Sure it costs more than others, but, in this case, you get what you paid for.

That's great to hear! I have around 4000 miles on mine and they still look like new.
