What shocks can you put on a ML320

Are there a variety of shocks for the ML? I'm looking to see if there are different shocks that can be used to stiffen or soften the ride, are built for heaver loads, and so forth

Feedback is appreciated!

I just put Bilstein shocks on the front of my '98. It made a huge difference in the handling and feel. It is a bit stiffer than I expected, but not bad. It rides more like a new truck than a luxury car. The original factory shocks I pulled out were completely shot.

I could only find one after market shock that would fit the back of the ML320.
Had to remove origional spring. but save several hundred dollars.
