Hello. I am new to this forum (thanks to a referral from a BMW forum that I also frequent). I am excited to find a forum with fellow ML owners who love (and sometimes hate) their MBZs. I now have all the resources at my disposal for my car fleet.

First off, I am fortunate that I have not had any major problems with my '99 ML320. Granted, I have only owned it for 5 months and my wife's commute is only 6 miles one-way. Needless to say, we haven't put much wear-and-tear on the car since we have owned it.

Now on to my problem. The rear seat is of the "3 separate seats" variety. A couple of months after ownership, the middle seat does not fold down anymore. The pull knob does not feel any different from the others, i.e. it has the same tension as the other working seats. I have not yet attempted to take the seat apart. Any help would be appreciated.
