We just bought a 02 320, it has an indash cd player and the cd changer.
When i select Nav it displays Nav not installed. Does this mean that it has no Navigation installed or does it mean i need to load a Navigation cd.
We did not get a Nav cd with the truck.

Open the Radio lid and inside is a disk slot. Press eject and see if there is a Nav Cd in there. If not, you need one. I'm not sure what type of Nav system you have as there is a CD and DVD based system. DVD is newer, however I'm not sure what year ML's starting production with them. Perhaps someone else can chime in? Any of the disks can be purchased from a dealership.

You should have a NAV button on the face of the unit. You just need to buy the Nav CD for your area and load it in the CD player slot. First time it will run through a short setup for you. Search here or ebay for Nav CD's.
