Driveshaft balance

I know that the driveshaft on my 2000 ML 430 came prebalanced. After changing the center support bearing and reinstalling the driveshaft and aligning it on previously marked locations, I have a shimmer under load in first and second. Can a driveshaft be balanced again? If not, any recommendations are welcomed.

They can on most things

Never tried balancing a driveshaft on an ML, but I know that on every other vehicle I owned, it was pretty standard. Replacing the U-joints and having the driveshaft balanced often got rid of a lot of mystery vibrations in a vehicle. Check your local yellow pages for driveline shops and give them a call.
