De-badging the ML

Just wondering if anyone had debadged their ML.

I was polishing the ML430 emblems on the back hatch of my 99 ML430 and noticed the M and the 4 were loose. I figured the others were in the same shape (or close to it) so I removed them all with a thin piece of plastic and some 3M adhesive remover. I had every intention of re-installing and had thoroughly cleaned the surface when I decided I kinda' like the clean look.

Now I'm debating on removing the rear-hatch star also. Anyone else done this and, if so, could you please post a picture of the results ? Thanks !!

If your ML430 is black,I think black badging looks kinda cool.I havent come across black ones, but Ive seen them on cars.Im thinking of putting black ones on my ML500.
