ML320 1999 - A/C Problem
I have recently lost cold air. The vents blow hard air as usual, but I am not hearing the compressor turn on from the engine compartment. One day I had air, the next day it was gone. I did not notice a change in air temperatures over time, so I am hoping that it is something electrical.
Is there any possibility that it is not the compressor itself? I have checked the f44 fuse and all other fuses from the control panel and have noticed that the two aux. fans in the front of the truck are not spinning at all when the truck is running. Perhaps they shouldn't spin if the compressor is not working? Any ideas for me to investigate before taking it to the mechanic? Thanks in advance. Todd |

Low freon pressure most likely. Maybe it suffered a sudden freon loss such as a rock to the condensor.....
