Strongly Recommend You Use 15w50. I Am In Texas And A Distributor Of Lubricants Here And In California.

Personally I Use 15w40 Conventional Diesel Oil In My Ml + Clk 430
& Mitubishi Montero.

Reason It Has Highest Additive Package, And Is A Typical Oil Used In Cross Country Trucks Throughout The Usa Who Run Over 1,000,000 + Miles On A Typical Engine.

Further These Oils Are Rated To Allow For 20 - 30,000 Miles Between Oil Changes. ( Sure I Change Mine At 3000 ) But The Point Is The Quality Of The Additive Package Allows These Oils To Preform At Levels Beyond The Synthetic Hype.

Note, Diesel Trucks In There Natural Service Allow Fuel To Enter The Oil. This Causes Sulfer Factors Which Must Be Countered By The Oil Itself. Hence The Extremely High Additive Packages Used In These Oils.

Fyi Some Major Brands: Shell: Rotella -t; Chevron Delo 400; Mobil Delvac.

Check These Companies Web Sites For Details Information On These Oils.
