Air suspension ML 320 cdi
We are about to order a 2007 ML320cdi and are considering the air suspension package, however, I have one salesman telling me that the ride will not be any different to the standard suspension and another saying that it will soften up the bumps and potholes, ....has anyone out there been able to do a side by side comparison....tks

With the Airmatic, at the push of a button, you can go from regular driving to "Comfort" when going through potholes, speed bumps and/or whatever kinds of road roughness you may encounter; and it most definitely smooths it out. That same button will put you in "Sport" mode to have it handle curvy mountain roads almost like a sports car. The Airmatic is way more than "adequate". Get the HID lighting package while you're at it, too. It's another performance item well worth its price.

AS all salesmen go, they wanted to sell from inventory! The air susp is worth the wait & the difference!
