My father in law just gave my wife his '98 ML320. Nice gesture but spending the last week in here reading it seems it could have potetial problems. He kept maintenance up flawlessly and it just had it's 100,000mi service done before we got it. Anyway I'm trying to get a jump on some of the potential problems that might occur. I"m going to have to do alot of stuff myself because of $$$ of repairs and there is no MB dealer within 170 miles of here. I was looking @ DIY article about changing out CPS and I viewed the picture of its location. Last night I was poking around looking for it and I could not locate it. I prabably was looking right at it. Any help would be great. Also does anyone know the part # for Brake light switch. The ABS/ETC light is on and thought I would try replacing that to see if thats the problem. Thanks for the help and also this site has already been a big help its great your here.
