I think they were all dealer installed, the wiring loom is there, all you need to add is the fuses. There was a rubber plug that is popped out, the connector comes with the plug installed on the wires. The frame was drilled for the hitch, removing the bumper made the job easier. They told me it was a 45 minute job, at least on a 99
