What's a 1999 ml320 worth?

I have spent many days searching this forum for information to keep this higly dissappointing mercedes truck on the road.

Thank you for your help and collective support.

After recently replacing the airconditioner system and yet another door lock I am now ready to go to the dark side and buy a toyota.

What is your guess as to what I could get in a private sale or trade for a (currently) well running good looking (no dings or marks and very clean)perfectly maintained (at great expense and annoyance) white ml320 with 158,000 miles with no options except the trailer hitch package and a cd changer?

The truck has never been off road and only occasionaly pulls a 1500lb boat trailer.

It'll do more than that...

especially if you have the records to back up the repairs. If she's not heavily damaged or painted, and with the trouble areas dealt with, it'll do a bit more. I am in the industry, and have good success with them as long as you can keep them around or under $10ish k. Hope this helps. These are end use retail numbers, and assumes they are ready to pass on to someone else. Wholesale, and unprepared, yep, 5-6k is about right.

I judged it based on the fact that it's a bare bone car with high mileage, white color isn't very desirable in the MB line.

Guess it just depends...

on where you are. For us down here in the heat, it works fine. Doesn't work well on an S class, but others looks and sells fine.

Update:
Had a local wholeseller offer $5500 with out ever seeing the truck.

It looks new. Paint shines with no dings or dents. Good Tires, everything works, no leaks from anything or anywhere, and have extensive maintenance records, (anything that was not right was always fixed - actually have recorded every gallon of gas it has used) Never missed an oil change at each 5000 mile make with Mobil 1.

Think I will split the difference and try to get $8000 in a private sale.

Wish me luck.
