Hey folks...the BAS/ESP light they say at the dealer is caused by a faulty "steering angle sensor." Is this part the same as the "steering reference sensor"? If so, the dealer wants $719 for the part....MercedesShop wants $100!!!!

Ouch!!!

The steering angle sensor on the ML is made onto the steering column & NOT available separately.

To make that repair the steering column must be replaced.
