Doc MB: tranny oil plug, Wolfgangs page says I will lose it all

if i drain through that tranny pan plug first, you said i would lose 3.5-4L opening the tranny pan.
Before I begin, I am sure you are correct but I wanted to verify as I didnt buy enough oil to replace it all nor do I think I should.

FYI, I am replacing the conductor plate in this removal of the pan.
