Post Do I want to keep away from a '99 ML320?

seriously.
like. i've been hearing all of the horror. I remember we had one back in the day for a short period of time (430) but I was young and not so into the whole. car thing.

I'm looking @ a '99 ML320 @ the local stealership.
its got just over 100XXX
seriously
like 100162 or something.
autotrader listed for 9,900
but they've come down verbally since then.
its STRIPPED.
like I've never witnessed one like this before.

options.
power windows/locks/keyless

opt outs.
window tint
seat heat
CD changer
full leather/mbtext

yes. it does have the cloth seats kinda lined in MBtext.

and the bench seat is a 33/33/33 instead of the 60/40 I remember ours having?
is this one that was intended for euro?

it's white w/ grey bumpers & black & grey interior
I would honestly enjoy driving this. a little TLC & some window tint & a trip to the local Wabasto installer & I'm good.

The horror stories of repair expenditures are true. The only question is, how much money are you willing to part with annually, to keep it in repair? I figured out years ago, that if I wanted a real SUV, the Jeep brand was the most cost-efficient and durable of all 4X4s.

I want mercedes.
I'm going to need something in the line of 4 matic for winters basically. unless i get an E or an S and add studded tires. or just... well... use the road side assistance card... a lot.

For that price, you should get factory leather, privacy glass, moonroof and the rest.

Arrow used pre-MBUSA Mercedes-Benz G-class

matthias08,

Have you thought about purchasing a used pre-MBUSA Mercedes-Benz G-class?

You can find one that fits your budget from years 1980 thru 2000.

I bought my Mercedes-Benz G-class G320 Cabrio form Russ the owner of Europa G-WAGEN and I recommend his services.

Below are some other options:

1. mserpe's clubgwagen: http://www.clubgwagen.com/classifieds/ads.php
2. Ebay Motors: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/Cars-Trucks___mercedes-G_W0QQMake247a0eZMercedesBenz455f39e6QQ_nkwZmercedesQ20GQQ_catZ6001QQ_fxdZ1QQ_pcatsZ6000

Respectfully,

James Van Thach
