You're right about the "not for the faint of heart". He can call it what he wants, but it's not a G. Kind of like calling Frankenstein a human being.

The Discovery seats are nice....however I can only imagine how much of a hackjob it was getting them in place.....

I dont care how many times someone talks up a ford engine, im not buying it. .I'd rather buy a G with a OM617 job over a 302.

Sux. . that G had it goin on at one time. . .

Despicable in every sense, why bother taking out the heart and soul of the G that is the MB engine?

i dont know, benz engine and tranny are not the best, but ford one is not better,

he gave me great idea? since i buy wrecked and salvage cars, i will look for newer G and drop very special engine in it, can you all quees what is it???

The OM616/617 combined with the VG80 T case and TX-18 tranny manages to last close to 500,000 miles of on and of road use, thats good enough for me, duno bout others.
