Ml 320 engin coolant capacity and mix ratio.
Hello,
Can anyone confirm the engin coolant capacity (ho much do you need) and what is the orginal collant to water mix ratio. Is it 50/50?? I just want to use the orginal mix ratio ![]()

If you drain the radiator & the engine block?? you should be able to use a gallon of antifreeze & a gallon of water. 50/50 OF course in southern California....40/60 would do.

Mix ratio??
I live in north california and I go skiing often at tahoe. And often leave the car out overnight. I never change the coolant before so I know the orginal mix ration works?
So is 50/50 the orginal mix. Also like to have the idea of keeping things orginal. thanks

blau - if you don't live in an extreme climate ie. the desert or Alaska (where you can see Russia from your house - so I'm told...) then 50-50 ratio would work ideally.
Be sure to use distilled water NOT tap water which contains all sorts of crap and minerals which will build-up and inhibit your system. |
