Hello,

Can anyone confirm the engin coolant capacity (ho much do you need) and what is the orginal collant to water mix ratio. Is it 50/50?? I just want to use the orginal mix ratio .

If you drain the radiator & the engine block?? you should be able to use a gallon of antifreeze & a gallon of water. 50/50 OF course in southern California....40/60 would do.

Mix ratio??

I live in north california and I go skiing often at tahoe. And often leave the car out overnight. I never change the coolant before so I know the orginal mix ration works?

So is 50/50 the orginal mix. Also like to have the idea of keeping things orginal.

thanks

blau - if you don't live in an extreme climate ie. the desert or Alaska (where you can see Russia from your house - so I'm told...) then 50-50 ratio would work ideally.

Be sure to use distilled water NOT tap water which contains all sorts of crap and minerals which will build-up and inhibit your system.
