Hi Folks. I'm contemplating purchasing a pre-owned R-Class. I see many ads describe their vehicle as "all wheel drive" and yet the rear deck lacks the "4-Matic" badging. When I inquire, I often get a simple response such as: "Its all wheel drive" or "they are all all-wheel-drive". Is this true? If so what's the difference between "all-wheel-drive" and "4-Matic". Thanks to all who might shed some light on this. Any additional recommenadations and "look-out-fors" on the R-Class would be most appreciaited.
