Sounds like a failing CPS to me. My 2 cents.

Like anyother part, they get old and fail. The first sign of a failing CPS is occasional failure to start. Sometimes it will, somtime it won't. The longer you wait to replace it, the worse the problem will become. My 2 cents.

Just remember, when folks talk about a CPS, they are referring to a CRANK position sensor. But, on the front of your engine is another one called a CAMSHAFT position sensor. While the CAMSHAFT PS rarely goes bad, it still can causing the same identical symptoms. Lower down on the list is a fuel filter and a fuel pump.

Problem reoccured

Team
The problem reoccured yesterday .. i cam eback home on saturday night at 10 and the next day morning it refused to start. in the afternoon i removed the CPS and cleaned it and put it back it started again.
i went to Autozone and there is a P0110 pending error . the autozone guys said it will be gone tomorrow and by the way when i removed the CPS i also diconnected the MAF sensor (new only couple of weeks old) and tried to start. after that i reconnected the MAF again . is the P0110 Pending error because of that??

Thanks in advance..
