My SRS light on my 2000 ML320 is intermittent with the BabySafe sensor for the front passenger seat.

Anyone know how to disable this? Preferably with the wiring?

Some other fix?

When someone sits in the pax seat and then next time out empty, red ABS light. Someone sits on seat, light goes out.

Getting annoying. I am guessing replacing pad under seat would be PIA.

That isn't just a "baby smart" issue>
Also a sensor to see if there is a passenger on that seat.

Most likely you will need a new seat pad.
