Howdy Benzie
The 406 is the short version of the 416. I think they do come with the six speed tranny so if you don't want to go through a 20 you won't have to. If they don't come in the 6 speed then look into a 404. Generally the 404's are a lot less than the 406/416 in the USA, I don't know what they cost in your country. So save up your pennies and join the group.
