Your Mog and the GM nv4500

if you had a mog with the 617a conversion like in the unimog dieselization webpage----and you could swap in a GM nv4500 --would you choose the early one with the low 6:34 first / and non syncronised reverse first gear or
> 95 newer have 5:61 first with a syncronised reverse.

I guess the way i should ask is-- if you had a truck with 2wd and 4.11 rear gears and 32"or 33" tires and a turbo 617, which would you
go with to get the thing going from a start-- if you could bolt up a nv?
lets say the truck weighs 4800 LBs empty and would be sometimes moderately loaded and might have a dana 60 3/4 ton front axle and a np 205 transfer case that could be swapped in if off road utility is wanted.
