2002 ML320 ABS, ETS, BAS lights stay on

We bought this car with these lights on thinking it was just a simple replacement of a brake light switch and it would take care of...WRONG!!

My husband check the speed sensor and everything seems to be fine,
currently he took out the ABS control panel to check for bad solder joints but he doesn't know what to look for
can somebody please tells us where or what to look for
I would really appreciate it...Thanks

You will need someone that has an SDS diagnostic system to read the codes to determine what exactly is causing them to be on. What part of the country are you in? You may be able to find a good independent in your area by checking on the section of the forum that discusses good shops.

Welcome aboard.

You should jump the ABS relay if the ABS motor does not turn on try tapping with a hammer handle. If the motor responds remove the motor just two screws and take to a auto electric shop for new brushes. You may have to try several before finding one willing to do the job.Their are other post on this website with pictures and more detailed info.I think i found them with a search of ABS BAS AND STR LIGHTS ON ML GOOD LUCK.
