Went to a Mog gathering

Howdy All, Saturday I went to a small Mog gathering. 5 Mogs showed & a surprise visit by a 1984 280GE Gwagen owned by a fellow named Jock. My first up close look at one of these things. WOW!¡ Even though he off-roads this thing it is in great shape. It looks like it is only a couple years old. When you open and close the doors it is solid. Sitting in the seats I know I belong in one of these Looking under the truck I can see why this thing weighs in at what it does and why it lasts so long. Well the itch is getting worst so I better come up with one of these soon Thanx Jock for the itch

Jock is a pretty decent guy. He drove out from SoCal for one day of wheelin in Moab. This summer I think he is going to be my "rock stacker" when we attempt to nurse my G over the Rubicon trail.

It is truely amazing how the G lasts. They are built for long term durability. By comparison, can you imagine what a 18 yr old Hummer will look/run like? I suspect it would be nothing like a G.

Keep your eyes peeled Frank, there is one out there with your name on it

Howdy Brent,
Thanx, I got my eye on another one. It's kind of tough looking and not being able to move on anything until May A stock Wrangler TJ was taken through by DC. Don't know what by-passes it took. I don't think you will have too much trouble with it. Just know when to say that an obsticle is more than you want to try. Good Luck.

Do Mog owners spend all day detailing their car before meeting like other Benz owners? The day before the meet everyone details their cars only to apologize profusely for how "dirty" the car is

Howdy Kuan,
Sort of!¡ When you detail a Mog you drive though a mud puddle and then you apologize for not having enough dirt on it Also did you catch the Lionsback pics thread?¿ I know how much you want to tackle that thing
