News from Moab

Howdy All,
A couple early reports that came through the Mog mailing list. One fellow with the Mog group fell off his bicycle andleft in an ambulance. He was the one that posted the report and said he was ok Next report said someone in a toyota drove off of the Lions Back. Unfortunately the driver did not use the last 75ft. At this time I don't have any more details.

Pictures do not do "Lions Back" justice. Falling off of it anywhere would be very dangerous. I hope nobody was hurt.

Howdy All,
Guys on the Mog list are talkingabout the pics & videos. I will post a website as soon as the pics go up. One person flew around in an airplane and got some shots Another guy said he took 800 shots And if anyone is interested I can give you a contact to buy videos when they are ready.

I recall seeing a full sized Chev Blaser lose its brakes coming down Lionsback. It was shown on Ripleys or something. The truck gained speed REALLY quickly. They managed to get it very near the bottom before coming off the track. The truck took a serious beating at the bottom. Having been there it was exceptionally scary to watch.

Not only is it steep and narrow but it is a sheer drop off the side. From the top it is an easy 500ft plunge. I hope nobody was hurt, have you heard?

Howdy Brent,
In the version of the Blazer incident they interviewed the couple after they recovered. I haven't heard anymore aboutthe Toyota incident that just happened. If I hear something I'll let you know.
