2003 Ml 320

Does anyone know if any substantial changes are intended for the 2003 ML 320? I am in the market for one, and am wondering if I should get the year end "deal" on a 2002, or get a 2003 for a couple grand more if its worth it.

thanks.

I would check the MBUSA website to be certain about feature differences, but for my money, I'd get the deal.

In 2001 they updated the EMS and traction control. In 2002 they added missing niceties like climate control, one touch window switches, head protection air bags (lost the power roof though )

In 2003, you have the ML500.... get a 2002 320 at $500 over invoice and you'll be happiest!

I heard that they are changing the ML320 to ML350 - putting in a 3.5 liter V6, 250bhp, instead of 215bhp for the existing 3.2. Is that true? That would be a significant power boost.

I've heard that too. One wonders what fuel economy will be like with a 3.5 liter engine. It's already borderline unacceptable for me.

Just checked with a salesman at work, he hasn't heard anything about the 2003 ML being changed or the displacement of the 320 being upped to 350. Usually those guys know stuff right away, and if I had heard about it, I'd let you know for sure. Nothing at the MBUSA website about 2003 ML either, i'm assuming it's mostly going to carry over from 2002.

That's funny Tracy...

I especially like it because one of my pet-peeves is that far too many people have handicap placards, they're too easy to get in California...
