02 ML 320 Hesitation problems
It has happened 4 time already, truck would hesitate and rattle when Accelerating from slow speed or from stop. Never happened on my 99 ML320. Shouldn't be any issue with Gas I use same Chevron station fuel usually stays above 1/4 tank.

Can't even fathom a guess on that one...
...as new as your ML is, I would bring it to the dealer and let them figure it out. There may be a service bulletin out on that. Otherwise, they may have to keep it for a day or so to recreate the problem.

There is one bulletin I know of which sounds alot like what your's is doing. Have the dealer check it out, it's for later model ME2.8 engines like yours, the fix is a new updated engine control module.

Oh shoot, the one I thought it might be is for 2001, and also says "except ML", sure sounded like it though.
The one I had in mind was DTB P-B-07.65/14 You can have them look at AF07.04P8641A on WIS, especially if you have no trouble codes or check engine light, this would involve readapting the flywheel sensor, they should be familiar in checking to see if it could be a problem (checking adaptation values) and erasing and readapting it if it is incorrect.
