Anyone that can help, please let me know if you have run across this problem. My wife's AC went out in her ML. The fuses are all ok, and and everything runs, but the compressor doesnt kick on. The freon level is fine, and we were able to bypass the console switch and the compressor came on and cooled perfectly. What I want to know is do these control units go out often? Or could I be looking at the wrong remedy?

The AC on the ML320 is working perfectly now. It just started working again. I tried it last night, and the AC is cooling normally. Is there something I should look for to correct the problem? Could it be a short somewhere? Or could it be the actual AC button that is out, or is going out? Any help would be appreciated. Its nice to have the AC back, but Im worried that this could happen again, and that this time, it could be out longer, and happen more often.
