I have a problem with my remote alarm/entry system.

It is definitely NOT the remote fobs, because when one works, then the other works aswell. And when one fails, the other will also fail to work.

Basically, the remote fobs can work fine for a few days in a row, but I find occasionally that turning ignition off can be sticky and if something is catching and not allowing me to fully turn to "position 0".

When that happens my remote fobs will fail to work.

Most of the time I can "re-synchronise" them and they work...I just need to re-sync one of them and then both will work.

However, sometimes no matter what I do, they will not work, and it is a case of locking all doors manually and trying re-sync another time or the next day before it works again.

WHat can it be?? I suspect something to do with the ignition/sensors etc?? (I know nothing about car electrics)
