What happened? I saw your other thread in regards to selling the car.
Forget the Merc, perhaps you should look at the the Jaguar XJ-Series Vanden Plas or Audi S8. Forget it, go for the S8.

The car would make a rapping noise at lower RPM"s. Took it to the dealer and guess what "They all do that". My response was BULL----.
One week later engine stops working. Taken on flat bed to the "stealer" who diagnoses it as piston slap that in turn led to scored cylinder walls and needs a new short block. Car is all back together runs fine but I no longer want it.
I am surprised that they got it right the first time. This dealer is a joke. The car had the chrome wheels on it when I purchased it. Once I got it home I noticed that the driver side front was peeling on the back side of the wheel. I took it back, they ordered another wheel and the first time they installed the tire on backwards. This was a Pirelli P Zero directional tire with numerous makings on the sidewall that said this side facing in or on the other side this side facing out. However, the bozos disregarded the printing and did it their way. Maybe I better check the engine to be sure they didn't install it upside down.
I purchased a Lexus SC 430 for my wife about 3 months ago and am going to purchase another Lexus for myself (not sure which model). Thanks for your advice on the cars. The Jag is beautiful but depreciates like a big rock. The Audi is great but over priced in my estimation and from what I have read the quality is about the same as MB and the dealetr here in Sacramento is neck in neck with the Mercedes dealer; no thanks.
