W124 90 300TE front fender replacement

Hello all!
My 17 year old teenage son just rearended another 17 yearold teenage boy. There's a 1st I'm sure! My 90 300TE sustained most of the damage taking out the right headlight and turn signal and crumpling the RF fender. Have any of you replaced the front fenders on the W124? Big job? Since I have to replace the entire RF headlight/turnsignal assy I'm thinking about going to the Euro style headlights. Thoughts?
