funy you should mention middle ground i don't think it has to be that way, either support democracy or support saddam. plenty of us don't like the war OR saddam. i personally don't think it's our job as a country to go around 'fixing' other countries; if you think it is that's great but be advised: we have a load of work to do worldwide.

Well many of those places posed no threat to us....Saddam did...for many reasons...

SO we took him out....now they have a democracy where they had tyranny...

And when the terrorists give up or are dead...the other countries will get the idea Democracy is good and will work for them too....and Voila most of the middle easter problem solves itself...

But of course the lefties want to keep things the way they were ....which was a fermenting ground for terrorism and despots.

Its the same as that vacant lot next door....you you leave it barren for the soil to wash away....or do you plant trees and flowers...the soild doesn't run off and good things begin to happen from a simple gesture...
