Dilbert.com 3rd Annual Weasel Poll Results

NEW YORK Winners of the Third Annual Dilbert Weasel Poll include Bill O'Reilly and George W. Bush, among other people and entities. More than 43,000 people voted in the survey via Dilbert.com. Scott Adams' "Dilbert" comic strip appears in more than 2,000 newspapers via United Media. Chosen as the "Weaseliest Media Pundit/Reporter" was O'Reilly, the Fox News Channel host who also writes a column for Creators Syndicate. He received 13,123 votes, followed by filmmaker/author Michael Moore (11,495), CBS anchor/King Features Syndicate columnist Dan Rather (8,396), and author/Universal Press Syndicate columnist Ann Coulter (7,971). The "Weaseliest Industry" was oil, which won handily over the news media 17,999 to 8,926. Bush beat John Kerry again -- this time as "Weaseliest Politician." The President received 17,068 votes, versus 9,565 for Kerry. Vice President Dick Cheney got 8,920 votes to finish third. The "Weaseliest Country" was the United States, which garnered 19,918 votes. France finished second with 12,941. Halliburton was chosen as the "Weaseliest Company" by a huge margin, with 25,073 votes. The "Weaseliest Organization" was "religious fanatics," with 13,192 votes. The "Weaseliest Celebrity" was Donald Trump (13,125 votes) and the "Weaseliest Sports Star" was Kobe Bryant (15,231). |
