Please be careful.

For all of us on this forum and our families, please be extra cautious driving. There are many holiday parties with people having a drink or 2 or 3 or 4 at lunch and leaving early on a Friday before Christmas week. As my Dad and I both say..."They're all out." , all the idiots who are taking your life in their hands.
Be especially careful to keep an eye on the right lane and shoulders on highways where I now find many little Hondas with blue lights taking the position that it's their own personal highway to pass on the right at 80+ mph.

Police rarely do anything about that.

Passing in the right lane IS legal in most states......particularly when grandma and grandpa camp in the left lane going under the posted limit.

If you aren't passing someone then get in the right lane.....you will irritate far fewer people and not cause traffic jams and road rage.

Its legal in DC, MD, WVA and VA.........but in fact its illegal to camp in the left lane in PA, you can get a ticket for it, but its also illegal to pass on the right there too...but try to get a ticket for doing that.

I knew what you mean though, the slowest idiots on the road around here feel they have a right handed down by god to drive as slow as they want in the left lanes.

Just reiterating

If you're going along well with the traffic, just be careful and check the right lane as carefully as you would the left before changing lanes into it.

All the idiots are out there weaving in and out just so they can be 2 cars in front of you at the next traffic light.

I'll second that! Texas has the worst left lane bandits that I've ever seen. It is really bad when they come to Florida but it is even worse when you drive through the state of Texas. They will not move out of the left lane for any reason. Stupid f*&$^#@ Texans! I'm sure they aren't all bad but I'd say 99% of the ones that I encounter driving on the interstate are in that catagory! The worst offenders drive Suburbans. Oh, that's right, the Suburban is the official truck of Texas.

Apparently the old ladies in maroon Continentals have not got to you yet. When you see one of those in the left lane, Grandma is going to be making sure a lot of people keep to the speed limit. Yes, Texans are the worst, and I have never in my life heard of that law being enforced.

With a Grand Marquis or a Crwon Vic, at a distance your car looks like a state police cruiser. I think that settles folks down, too.

They continually mess up the tollways I must be on all the time. The two paces of life don't seem to mix all that well. Oh well, the bulk of the cheesers seem to hate us as well. All a question of perspective.
