Ha! Its certainly interesting when a single member gets their own thread. Especially when its not conjured out of spite!

Webwench is great, and I really appreciate her reference to 123 diesel links(its a God-send, really). The diagrams for the 603 engine have been all the more fascinating.

Well, I hope that if/when I decide to tie the knot one day, my bride will be quite wise and experienced in this manner. I have no tolerance for closed-minded ignorance from anyone.

Wow, webwench, you got your own thread!

And it's not because everyone loathes you, as they do some members who have been "featured" in their own threads in the past! This is rare indeed!

In spite of our differences, all of us car nerds can appreciate an attractive, intelligent woman who can turn a wrench.

As for me personally, I enjoy the fact that you have a sarcastic wit, you support your libertarianism with intelligent, polite, and well-reasoned arguments, and you have a low tolerance for bull$h!t from certain other members around here (whose names I don't think require mentioning). All excellent qualities to have in a wench.

Mike

I felt like doing a little basic research, so I went over to dictionary.com:

4 entries found for "wench".

wench (wnch) n.

1. A young woman or girl, especially a peasant girl.
2. A woman servant.
3. A wanton woman.

intr.v. wenched, wench·ing, wench·es

To consort or engage in sex with wanton women. Used of a man.

[Middle English, short for wenchel, child, from Old English wencel.]
wencher n.

wench

n : informal terms for a (young) woman [syn: dame, doll, skirt, chick, bird] v : frequent prostitutes

So I'm wondering which of these definitions this board's lady is? Or put another way, I've been wondering for a while, why she would pick this moniker....

Cheers,
Gerry

I've heard she is into firearms as well, so you had better call her beautiful!

so I can't vouch for her beauty
I don't judge attractiveness on looks.

gerryvz - I don't think she picked the nick based on the true definition of the term wench. She will come along directly and answer this profound question though I'm sure.

Howdy All,
I would marry her but she is toooo young and I don't think she would want to lower her standard of living. Plus I don't think she would appreciate my dog's sporting hobby LOL.

A beautiful woman is beautiful even to a blind man.

It is rare to meet a charming, beautiful and intelligent woman with the diverse interests she has expressed here. I am sure that in person she would be a constant source of wonder and amazement. Besides, she said I could be President.

Happy New Year.
