NFL Playoffs... who ya got? (predictions thread)

After securing the #1 seed in the AFC, the best record in football at 15-1, and winning their last consecutive 14 games, the Pittsburgh Steelers seem poised to take a step towards the superbowl this weekend as they welcome the NY Jets to Heinz Field.

As has been the case all season, I am in a state of disbelief. They've got a rookie Quarterback. They lost their starting Pro-Bowl Nose Tackle, The first two QBs on the roster, Two starting Linebackers, A starting Safety, a starting Tight End, the starting Half Back, the starting Split End Wide Reciever... and somehow have only managed to get better. With almost all members of the team healthy again (who aren't on IR), it seems that they have as much a shot as anyone to make a serious superbowl run.

Can a rookie QB lead this team to a superbowl victory? My concern is that the team could look past the Jets and be considering the formidable Colts and vaunted Pats who they could face next week. Any given sunday, blah blah blah... I guess anything is possible!

So.... get your predictions in for this week!

Mine:

Steelers over Jets (Big Ben scrambles and dives for the winning TD)
Colts over Pats (Peyton's incredible year continues against tattered NE secondary)
Rams over Falcons (I dunno about this one- two bipolar teams. Bulger makes less mistakes than Vick)
Vikings over Eagles (upset special; Vikes Offense rolls)

Falcons... Vick is the X-factor that can win any game for them. With the entire team healthy I dont see how they lose at least until the super bowl.

Howdy All,
I hope the Colts can go all the way. The Pats are tough.

Since my Broncos got spanked and humiliated by the colts, I'm going to say Steelers. I sooo don't want the Pats to go to the bowl again.

Boy did Ben look bad though. Wondering if it wasn't first playoff game jitters. If he can calm down against the Pats he'll have a chance, but if he repeats that performance against the pats its going to be Uuuuuuugly.
