Estimates/Invoices/Contact
Over the years I have used Quickbook Pro for various businesses. Recently I have taken on a restructuring of a small business that needs software for preparing estimates, invoicing and contact data. I am trying to find software or addins to Excel that will provide me with design flexability on the invoices and a way to turn the estimates into invoices. When I looked into the newer versions of QB Pro I noticed some severe restrictions (one machine unless I want to spend over $600 and a fast i-net connection which I don't want to suggest to the business owner). QB Pro is overkill for this application. Anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks. I have been checking those and will continue to do so.

There are some nice MS works templates as well, I think you can do the function you're trying to do with QB pro 2004 which is available on ebay cheap, you can also integrate it with excel.
I know QB is pricey but it's the only real good suite out there for now MS is coming out with one this year. PC magazine has some good article on alternives to QB pro. I got sick of minor upgrades and high prices myself, but I still use QB pro 2004. |
