You can't go wrong with the Beretta 92 and the inox is a nice choice. I've never had one but I did have an 84F (.380) that I really liked. Unfortunately, it had a nickel finish and my perspiration is very acidic and corroded the finish. I had a Glock 17 before switching to the H&K.

My Submariner has taken it's share of abuse -- this May will be 18 years of daily wear and I've only had it in for regular service three times.

hey real quick, all you watch guys/gals. is a watch made by Longines a good watch? is it worth what the asking price is for new and vintage?

Vintage Longines are medium quality mass produced ebauches with no real distinction to elevate them above their Bulova, Hamilton or Schaffhausen equivalents.

The modern ones I'm unfamiliar with.

Browning 9mm goes with the 36 yr old Rolex GMT Master; Walther PPK/S in
32 acp goes with my Buova Accutron Astronaut. Kid's timex keeps better time than the Rolex (which costs more <$500> to have it serviced now than it cost me when I bought it new for $225.00) but can the timex take a licking and keep on ticking??

Bought the non-working Accutron in a Army PX in 1970 for $10. Had it redone a couple years ago, and its' a beautiful watch that hums instead of ticks and keeps within 1 minute a month...
