How many miles a year do you drive?

And what are your favorite trips?

I pound about 25K miles per year and enjoy the trip between Seattle and the woods the most, and the trip between the woods and the ski resort 2nd most.

I have been doing about 35-45K miles per year, mostly highway traveling throughout the bay area, and down to LA a couple of times a year.
Never been "stranded" once in my 300DT, except for the day my starter kicked the bucket on I-5. Had some friends with me, so we ate some lunch and relaxed while the starter cooled off... a couple hours later she started right up, made it to our friends place in Huntington Beach, and replaced the starter. Havent had any other problems since!

That's a lot of miles. No wonder you have four cars...

I run 20,000 a year, mostly commuting to work. Sigh.

I do around 25K. Thought that was extremely high and I see it's really pretty much the median.

10K miles or so. It's mostly from a few long trips since my commute is only a couple of miles. I used to ride a bike but these maniacs have no mercy. Bicycles are just not part of the mental processing of drivers and so they're invisible except for the crunchy sound.

I like to encounter the insecure ones, you know, the ones who face oncoming traffic. I like to get about 100 feet in front of them and then act like I'm looking for something in the floorboard as I drift towards them. Their eyes get wide and they usually put their feet down like that's gonna save them. At the last moment I look up in shocked panic, like I've just seen Michael Jackson bend over naked, and I blow my horn. Most of them look like they'll never be the same again.

Just kidding....

I travel on business every other week. So it kind of depends if I drive or fly then rent a car. But on average I'd say at least 1,000mi a week.
30,000 - 36,000 a year.
